My friend isn't answering emails. Am I to ume he doesn't want to talk to me?

I guess I probably should. We see each other every couple of months or so, and in the meantime we email (or not...) Should I just accept it that he's getting a bit bored of me? To keep bombarding with emails seems a bit rude...
