What kind of music is "okay" to like?

Ok I don't care what you say but any friend who rejects you by what music you listen to is not anyone you want to be around. Music is something for people to enjoy, if you feel you need to listen to popular music to fit in you will not have any friends anyway. In my own expirience I have never met someone who judges others based on their taste in art to the point where they wouldnt iciate with them. As a musician myself I have to say you really must not keep thinking about this. Its more than pathetic.
