Spiritually Speaking: How important is music in your life? Do you agree that we are all heavily influenced?

by music (or even the absence of it)? Music can make you feel patriotic; spiritual; sensual; inspired; angry; sad; happy, etc. Also, it can mark memories forever. I hear an old song and it can bring to the present memories from the past in a blink. Where does it originate? How can there continue to be new melodies on and on? Music is fascinating; does anyone agree? I love spiritual music; music that inspires me to worship God; but I can enjoy other types and I don't think that God minds. Do you agree?
