Yes, freeze it in small batches. My great aunt did this all the time! Poor thing, bless her soul as she's just ped would do this whenever milk was on sale...she'd keep half gallon containers, buy three to four gallons(yes! Gallons!) of milk, split them up and freeze them. Then if she needed milk soon she just pulled a half gallon out of her huge freezer and put it in the 'fridge overnight and she'd have milk the next day.
