Is It True The First Ever Concorde Was Made Of Wood?
Went out with my mates last night, this is getting a bit old now lol, well anyway, we started talking about famous crashes for example, that hamster guy from top gear, 911 and even the Concorde crash. This is where the conversation sort of got interesting. We started talking about the first ever flight. Not of the bird nor a dinosaur or even the chicken, but the first ever flight of the man. Afterall the first ever plane was made of wood, comprised of some bike pedals and a tandem wheel and obviously some bird feathers. But what on earth was the first ever concorde made of?? My mates had this theory and one of them said they had read this in a book so it had to be true, the first ever concorde was made of exactly the same thing as the first ever plane just minus the winks and an extra strechy rubber band. Why a rubber band you may ask?? Well i asked the exact same question and they said it was something to do with friction, what ever that means. Help me out here, is it true??
