Is Bank of America a good buy right now?

I have heard several opinions with regard purchasing the stock, the strongest being that there is a likelihood of nationalization despite what the current administration is saying. I have also heard concerns with regard to the companies that currently comprise B of A (including Merrill Lynch and Countrywide). One argument in favor of purchasing the stock is the stock is the notion that mark to market accounting will be suspended and the share prices will rise to reflect the change.
