So the triangle is a 90 degree angle triangle with the legs being 260 km and 340 km. The hypotenuse is therefore can be solved the Pythagoras theorem, which is the legs squared added to eachother equals the hypotenuse squared or 260^2 + 340 ^2 = H^2 => so to solve for this equation, you need to do the square root on both sides so that H = SquareRoot( 260^2 + 340^2)
